Empyrean Audio was created by audio engineer Joe Carter with the goal of helping music reach it's full sonic potential so that the music you create will resonate with your listeners, and make you proud to have created it.

Recording
The first stage in getting your music to sound truly incredible, and arguably the most important, is the recording process.
Tracking a phenomenal performance is paramount to getting a great end product, and with every recording session I strive to get the best performance I can out of you and capture it in the best light.
Mixing
Mixing is all about presenting the recording in the best light, finding a cohesive balance between the instruments and making sure everything can be heard clearly.
I always strive for the punchiest, most powerful, hard-hitting sounds possible. Using almost 10 years experience as an audio engineer, I will craft a sonic signature that your listeners will not forget.

I can mix artists from anywhere in the world, all you need to do is send me the raw tracks for your song and we'll work together to craft your sound.
Mastering
The final stage of the process is mastering. The importance of this stage is often overlooked, but a poor quality master can often entirely ruin a song, even if the mix was outstanding.

The mastering stage involves putting the final layer of 'polish' on the song, making sure it sounds great across all audio systems.

In addition, it also includes making sure the audio meets the requirements for CD & vinyl pressing and streaming services.

About Joe
Starting out as a guitarist and later moving onto production, I've spent almost 10 years honing my craft as an audio engineer. I specialize primarily in the production of heavy and progressive types of music but I'm always keen to dive into other genres in search of new musical experiences.
As a songwriter myself, with progressive metal project Libera Scientia, I have a strong understanding of the musical elements that can take a song to the next level and really make an impact on your audience.
